For this project I worked alongside director Courtney Yates to prop out a series of scenarios that would educate teenagers on the dangers of fetanyl. The first scenario we created simulated a friend overdosing on fetanyl- with a variety of options for the teens to take to try and save a life. We provided a dummy as well as various other props that could potentially aid in survival- a first aid kit, bucket of water, Advil, etc dispelling several myths on how to stop an overdose. After that, we spoke about the chemistry of the drug, propping out various pills- some of which were 'altered' and imploring students to identify the 'cut' product. Finally we created a floor 'board game' illustrating the economics and motivation of cutting drugs with potentially lethal doses fetanyl.
